Event Types
As Defiant Events we like to be able to offer a variety of Event Types to suit an array of play styles.
Below is a high level overview of our offerings so that you can know what to expect
Immersive Roleplay Events
These are themed events with a fictitious but plausible scenario.
The primary focus of these events is player roleplay interactions, which must be managed appropriately within the theme of the event and within the guidlelines and ROE.
However airsoft combat at some is an assured occurrence. The roles and characters can often be exaggerated and in a majority of cases are created by the players themselves. These events are typically 24hrs or more and require the attendee to be self sufficient for the duration
Near Peer Conflict Scenario
More typical Milsim event whereby two comparable, conventional Military forces are engaging one another based upon a plausible scenario. These events are typically 24hrs or more and require the attendee to be self sufficient for the duration
Machiavellian
These event are recommended for experienced milsim players and are extremely challenging events based primarily on reconnaissance or other specialist roles, rather than direct action or combat.
They are a step up from most Milsim events and are designed to be difficult both mentally and physically.
The aim is to immerse the atendee in a realistic scenario
This may include role players, special effects, pyrotechnics, vehicles and blank firing weapons
The role of the OpFor Team is entirely fulfilled by Roleplayers.
These events are typically 24hrs or more and require the attendee to be self sufficient for the duration
Battlesim
These events serve a a perfect introduction to Milsim Events but equally are great for the regular Milsimer who wants to experience a more easy lead up and more contact heavy event.
Our Battlesims vary in length from Day Games, to Weekenders and even full 24hr non stop experiences such as RAID, which is our annual Large Scale Battlesim Event.
You will work as part of a larger team to complete clearly defined objectives as set by the teams command element. There may be limited roleplay engagements to enhance player experience.
Scripted Events
These events follow a scripted event plan, typically mirroring or inspired by a historic battle such as Operation Gothic Serpent / Black Hawk Down. The opposing forces are usually fulfilled by roleplayers who’s actions steer the event progression alongside our Command structure. These events are typically 24hrs or more.
