Terms / COnditions and waiver
By booking to attend a Defiant Event, you are accepting any and all risk and agree to abide by the conditions laid out. You accept that you are legally bound to the contents of this agreement. This is an insurance/injury disclaimer covering all Events hosted by Defiant Events Ltd in the year of 2024, to include but not limited to Airsoft and Leisure activities hosted by Defiant Events Ltd.
I agree to follow the safety/best practice guidelines set out by the United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association (UKARA) and the safety brief given prior commencement of the event and I fully accept and understand that the event can be dangerous if not played in accordance with the stated rules which will be fully explained to me, and are available on the Defiant Events Ltd Website.
I also accept and understand the events are physically and mentally intense, and may require extreme exertion to partake. I am physically fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved.
I accept that there is a possibility of injury to myself and/or others due to the nature of the gaming area and the game of airsoft and I am fully aware of the risks to myself and others involved in the activities.I understand the importance of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as knee & elbow pads, boots, gloves & hearing protection. And that not wearing such PPE may render me liable to injury.
I understand the importance of wearing full face protection and that I’m responsible for the eye protection I am intending to wear. I accept that it is my responsibility to ensure my eye protection is fit for the purpose of protecting your eyes from projectiles which could impart energy of up to 2.5 Joules. I also accept that I must wear eye protection at all times during the event
I accept that, by bringing my own equipment, and I acknowledge that I take full responsibility and ownership of the suitability of such equipment.
I accept that, as a participant, I am advised to wear long sleeves, trousers and suitable, sturdy and supportive footwear.
I accept that I must be aged 18 or over to use pyrotechnics which must also be approved by Defiant Events Ltd Staff.
I will not attend the event whilst intoxicated through alcohol, drugs, or any other substance which may impair me in any way.
I will not attend the event if I am pregnant or have had an operation within the past twelve months that, through participating, the object of the operation could be aggravated, or suffering from any other known condition that may be aggravated.
I will not attend the event whilst I am undergoing medical treatment for an ailment that may be aggravated, including but not limited to high blood pressure, epilepsy, back problems, neck problems or any heart condition.I agree to have photographs or video taken of myself and used by Defiant Events Ltd as they see fit. If I have a fair reason not to have your image displayed publicly I will notify the Defiant Events Ltd Team prior to event start.
I understand that may take photographs or conduct filming
(via any device, including but not limited to drones, mobile devices, sports action cameras) with the permission of Defiant Events Ltd Staff. All images and film captured should be submitted to Defiant Events for review prior to posting to a public domain and all media captured may be used by Defiant Events as they see fit.
By accepting these terms upon booking you hereby release, remise and forever discharge from any claims and liabilities whatsoever without limitation, that you might have against the organisers / site owners, representatives or staff of Defiant Events Ltd and any other attendees / players who might cause injury to you. You accept this on behalf of yourself, your heirs, family, executors.
